Frescobaldi - Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG Ripe al Convento

Ripe al Convento has a splendid intense and brilliant ruby ​​red colour with garnet reflections.

The bouquet from this Sangiovese is wonderful and elegantly intense with scents that range from redcurrant, blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry and blackberry to floral and tertiary notes. 

With time the tertiary scents are the ones that take over, recalling tobacco, black tea leaves, leather and roasted coffee to then end with a delicate spiciness that recalls nutmeg, black and white pepper.

The tannin is also splendidly integrated and velvety. The acid-alcoholic component is beautiful. The finish is extremely long and persistent.
