Cragganmore - 12 Year Old 20cl
Cragganmore was founded in Ballindalloch, Speyside, in 1869 and was the first distillery to take advantage of the railway system for transportation, with its own railway siding on the Strathspey route.
The distillery was designed by Charles Cree Doig and the stone used came from the local hill 'Craggan Mor' (meaning 'big rock') which gave the new distillery its name.
Nose: An aromatic blast of citrus to begin with – orange and lemon oil – then soft aromas of toffee, roasted almonds and malted biscuits follow. Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate: The fresh citrus notes continue on to the palate, joined by sweet toffee, malt and oat biscuits. Very clean and refreshing.
Finish: The gentle maltiness fades lightly.
Made in Speyside, Scotland.
